The NVC2020 Exotic Pet Diseases stream will run for 4 days.

We will review about 20 clinical cases, discuss the contemporary approach to the dental disease, veterinary aspects of keeping alligators as pets and marine mammals as veterinary patients.

Gonçalo da Graça Pereira, DVM, MsC, PhD, Dip ECAWBM (BM), Dip ECAWBM (AWSEL), Professor of Animal Welfare, Behaviour and Training, . President of the European College of Animal Welfare and Behavioural Medicine (ECAWBM) and Vice-President of the European Society of Veterinary Clinical Ethology (ESVCE), will share with us interesting information about hamsters’ and gerbils’ behavior. We will spend one day dedicated to the avian diseases with Steve Smith, BVetMed (Hons.), CertZooMed, DipECZM (Avian), MRCVS, EBVS European Specialist in Avian Medicine and Surgery, RCVS Recognised Specialist in Zoo and Wildlife Medicine.
