The Oncology stream at NVC2019 will be cover two areas at the same time - surgical oncology and medical oncology.
To provide as much information as possible on these areas and to illustrate their interrelation, we have invited two leading international specialists:
- Dr. Craig Clifford DVM, MS, DACVIM is a recognized medical oncology specialist.
As Director of Clinical Studies and co-owner of Hope Veterinary Specialists, he participates in development of advanced technologies and innovations in cancer treatment.
He is a frequent lecturer at major veterinary meetings in the USA and abroad and participates in activities of various veterinary associations.
He has authored/co-authored over 60 papers and book chapters. - His colleague Dr. Bernard Seguin, DVM, MS, Diplomate ACVS, ACVS Founding Fellow - Surgical Oncology is an Associate Professor of Surgical Oncology at the Flint Animal Cancer Center, Colorado State University. His research activities cover various areas of surgical oncology. He primarily specializes in sarcomas in general and osteosarcomas in particular, as well as organ preservation surgery.
Oncology is a rapidly developing field, challenging specialists again and again. At our sessions, we will discuss new developments and approaches of leading international specialists to oncological problems.
